Guys, if I'm being real with you building my agency from the ground up to where it is now has NOT been easy whatsoever. To be frank with you, I struggled to get clients for the longest time and it got to a point where I was almost kicked out of my own home as I was jobless and had my bank account sitting in the negatives for the longest time! - My parents were not happy and I had debt collectors sending me letters. Listen guys, I tried every outreach method these so called "guru's" teach you to use. Now while I had little success from some of the strategies such as setting meetings through cold calling, Looms and even a couple of meeting through facebook video messages, the numbers were terrible and when I did set a meeting, the meetings were so cold they were just damn right awkward. Now, this could be due to a number of different variables, maybe my scripts were off, maybe my tonality was off, maybe I was too soft or too pushy with my outreach approaches maybe the niche(s) I was reaching out to just didn't resonate with my messaging, maybe I just sucked a sales, who knows? But when I say I tried these method I REALLY tried. I'm not just talking about doing just 50 cold calls to one niche and then giving up. I'm not talking about 100 templated emails to one niche and then giving up. I'm talking MULTIPLE-hundreds of cold calls, thousands of emails... EASILY, I'm talking real scientific metric analysis to see what my conversion and split testing just one variable at a time and despite all that my numbers were still terrible. Fast forward to today and I can COMFORTABLY say that using Upwork has really changed the game for me and my agency quite quickly! Not only am I working just 60 mins a day on my outreach I am setting 10x the amount of meetings and closing multiple clients a week in some weeks. (Something I thought was impossible). I'm also much happier, stress free and have more free time too. Now, I'm not trying to sell you anything here... in fact don't buy shit from me... Ever. Is Upwork worth doing in 2022? That's the big question. There's so much more competition and everyone wants to know if you can still make money with Upwork. To put it to the test, I spent 60 days freelancing on Upwork and this is the result. I Spent 60 Days Freelancing On Upwork & Made $_ 2 months ago I tried starting a social media marketing agency (SMMA). I gave myself 30 days to set up the agency and bring in clients. For the first 2 weeks, I tried cold emailing and I got 0 responses after sending 150+ emails. That's when I created an account on Upwork to get warm leads and let's just say I managed to successfully complete that 30-day challenge. Unfortunately, within the 30 days, because I wasted the first 2 weeks, I never had the chance to scale on Upwork by outsourcing the work but that's a topic for another video. I've now been using Upwork for 2 months, I've successfully signed a number of clients, and in this video, I will be sharing how much I've been able to make.
