Meta is often determined by working with your team on set tactics to spike the damage as much as possible. By request I'm playing with the Big Earner (one of my least favored knives) while it does have its niche as a great knife for chain stabbing and getting some nice strafe action with its speed the 100 HP often has me yearning for my kunai which often can maintain a presence while the earner gets 1 shot to death! The more I played around with it the more I noticed a pattern that shows up with my other class gameplay. Especially on blue teams I try to sync the timing of my attacks with what is developing with the rest of the team. It seems that another spy decided to clip down 3 hours worth of live streaming (while attempting to stream snipe) to make a shitpost (3mins long) to be rude to me and my channel. Occasionally some hot meme-ers will visit my channel and ask about that particular livestream after seeing the rude edit. (because who does not love jumping on a bandwagon) I have opted to ignore this for over 9mths but it seems to crop up in one form or another as a frequent question. I'm going to use the Time Stone to roll back to the livestream to see what really happened and try to shine some light on the matter that some folks only have 1 side of. While he had some talent in spy I find the DRASTIC edit of what actually happened to be disingenuous rather than a video that enhances TF2 at large. I'm positive that they could easily do better videos with what I saw of their gameplay. I hope this clears up what ACTUALLY happened in the livestream... Stream sniping is not too much different from any other troll or cheat in TF2 giving one user meta information over the one streaming. G'day all MrPaladin here. Very few things surprise me in this game. So when I stumbled on this script-kiddie "hacking" I had to keep poking at it to try to work out what the cheat was doing for them. VAC is supposed to keep the game clear of these kinds of things, but if it is not being obvious it can be very hard to tell who is employing a cheat. the hardest players to detect are the ones who have no aimbot on but have ESP (or wallhack/wallbot) and are able to see you through walls but unless they have the cheat disabled on spies a spy can tell if a player is reacting to them while under a full cloak. G'day all MrPaladin here. Bringing out the Wanga Prick with the Cloak and Dagger and Revolver on several different maps to show a set where patience pays off and paranoia is very real. Silent Killer "Kills made will be silent and the victim's corpse will disappear the weapon hit sound will still play. Kills will only be reported to your teams killfeed and the victims killfeed but not their teammates. If your silent kill weapon has a kill count will be shown and will be reported mid screen at increments of 5 kills, this negates some of its silent nature. Branching off from the idea's i have expressed in the "number crunching" videos where I give an estimate of a percent that I expect to be noticed if I were to do something at certain locations, I talked about how there are many spots on a map (some in the middle of combat) where you can uncloak and go unnoticed by all but the most observant (about 1 in 20 or 5%) I start the video showing the concept (breifly) before showing some actual flow. I was looking for a casual game (name changed) but I forgot to change the region of the search to US-EAST so I saw "Stabbys - LA" server in the listing and it had people playing so why not... Joined a game at the end of Goldrush section 3 and the defense held it, it was a fun game. Saw that Stabby was on, not really surprised as it is his server and he's chillin' with the peeps. Next round and its onto defense, Stabby took spy so out of respect for his fine gameplay I hunkered down the defense as soldier. The team worked well together. This video also addresses a matter talked about in the steam community group discussion page that apparently Stabby and I are meant to hate each other for some unknown reason?!? It is far from the truth, although we have different styles mostly because Stabby has many hours of experience in COMP and PUG games and I like to chill with my peeps in the community games. G'day all MrPaladin here. I have always found it odd how Capture the Flag is treated in Team Fortress 2 Team Fortress was birthed from Capture the Flag. It took CTF to the next level by introducing the concept of Classes and Build Objects. As such 2Fort was created and refined over many versions to become 2Fort5 and was later introduced as a starting map in TF2 as they made minor changes. But today you go on to 2Fort and you see one hot mess of gameplay. What is a spy supposed to do in the modern TF2 environment? So today I team up with Minty and we work together either as Dual Spy or as Soldier-Medic to take some CTF maps head on! As a spy I was using a Spycicle, Cloak and Dagger and a L'etranger. Because many of the maps we went on had very few ammo drop locations and I had to hang out often to time the best moments of opportunity. The spycicle was used because when you carry the intel the chances of any stab is near nil, so I might as well try to stop the burning until I can make it around 1 more corner! I was playing casually with some friends (Risemonger and STS) and even tho I had a false name on I did not change my loadout much from my usual favorite so some folks saw through the disguise/alias and there was some friendly chat across the server. But because of this over time the enemy teams became more and more paranoid so I had to become more and more careful. In this video you might be able to see how I become less risky and more cautious as I let the players who hunt for me waste their time while I try to pick off who I can... especially the unaware or unattended.
