Quick demo of unique features in Donner's Circle Looper with Drum machine. No more hiccups or drifting drums! I'm using a 3 string cigar box guitar and slide but of course any guitar would work! Sturdy, Easy to understand and has a feature that I think is very helpful especially if you're new to looping. Once you've selected your beat and tempo in drum mode, with the merge switch on, you can switch to loop mode by pressing both buttons at once. Once there you select an empty memory slot and press the record (left) button. You get a count down so you have time to get ready to play. When you're done you press the play (right) button. The looper automatically eliminates any lag in time. This cleans and tightens the loop. This also means you can use this looper by hand on a desk or stand instead of with your foot. I've included a short demo to illustrate this. There are too many other useful features to list here. This two in one looper/drum pedal is perfect for creating riffs or practicing your favourite songs. The casing is metal and solid, the footswitches feel to be of good quality and I haven't noticed any noise in the output when stepping on them. There are multiple ways to switch between the looper side and the drums side which is quite convenient. I am impressed with the variety of drum beats available and that the tempo can be edited for each one. If you compare to the price of a stand alone drum pedal, or even a standard looper pedal, I am sure that you will find yourself buying this without hesitation.
I hope this video helps you if you are considering getting a loop pedal! These quick tips are all things I hadn't really considered when I was first getting into looping- I was surprised how much more difficult it was than I initially thought! If you are a loop pro, comment any tips you have for beginners! After playing around with this pedal for a while, in hindsight, here is the one I would get: TC Electronic Ditto Jam X2 Looper Pedal: 🤍 Researching the Ditto Jam X2 pedal, it has the "BeatSense" technology to help you stay on time, a separate stop button, and unlimited overdubs. This one seems pretty cool from the reviews so this is what I will be trying next! It's also currently retailing at $200 so not going the break the bank. I wasn't able to find out a whole lot about an ext. footswitch for the fabulous Circle Looper from Donner I couldn't really find any in any music stores although the DigiTech fx3fs whatever will work this is a clone of that and it's a lot cheaper and it you can get it on Amazon so if you're looking for information on the external foot switch for the Donner circle Looper here you go here's your answer

A demo of the terrific Donner Circle Looper using onboard rhythm, adding three guitar layers. Additional equipment I used in the recording of the video was Zoom’s G1ON effects pedal plugged into a Behringer Xenyx 802 mixer, Behringer UMC202HD audio interface, Presonus Eris monitors, Zoom IQ7 stereo mic. Guitar played is a Keith Urban Player, a Les Paul-styled guitar (surprisingly good!). Also, not mentioned in the video is that this is a stereo looper, which makes a lot of difference in sound quality if you’re using stereo effects on your guitar. 🎸😎 PS: If you do want to use a mixer and guitar effects pedal with the looper, probably a better way to connect everything than the way I did it in the video is the following: 1. Guitar effects pedal into the looper (L/R) 2. Looper out (L/R) to mixer 3. Mixer out to audio interface* 4. Monitor via headphones plugged into audio interface I tried the above routing after I made the video and it worked great…I may never leave my recording room again 😆🎧 * Note that use of an audio interface is for recording so if you just want to jam without recording, no interface needed, simply monitor via your mixer or connect mixer to mains! Alternatively, connect looper’s outs to mains without using mixer.

Open boxing and quick demo of unique features in Donner's Circle Looper with Drum machine. Amazon Review: Sturdy, Easy to understand and has a feature that I think is very helpful especially if you're new to looping. Once you've selected your beat and tempo in drum mode, with the merge switch on, you can switch to loop mode by pressing both buttons at once. Once there you select an empty memory slot and press the record (left) button. You get a count down so you have time to get ready to play. When you're done you press the play (right) button. The looper automatically eliminates any lag in time. This cleans and tightens the loop. This also means you can use this looper by hand on a desk or stand instead of with your foot. I've included a short demo to illustrate this. There are too many other useful features to list here.
