Disclaimer Fabrication Disclaimer: Any time you are using a machine that cuts steel the machining forces or cutting surfaces can KILL YOU. Pressure Kills Disclaimer: I am not an expert or engineer. However I know high pressure air is even more dangerous. It can KILL YOU OR OTHERS AROUND YOU. I don't know anyone's ability or attention to detail. These are are critical for safety (your calculations, measurements, material selection or ability to use tools properly). I cannot give you enough information in youtube comments to warn you how to proceed or all the dangers or steps you must take for success (not hurting yourself). I ask everyone wanting to make an airgun to join a forum to research this for months before undertaking any project. Any questions/answers addressed about air gun fabrication probably will be missing a lot of critical information you need to know. Don't assume it is enough. Please look up how-to on 🤍 Or another airgun build forum. These guys can give you good information and review what you are doing for safety. - This is a ".44 caliber" (.429) airgun made from scratch (uses a modified Spyder Paintball trigger system and a cut down Chaszel 44 magnum barrel liner). Tube is 1" x .083 DOM steel, valve and endcaps are 1" 416, pins are Grade 8 or "better" SHCS with one very large one hidden by the trigger. All these pressure tube components were tested to 7200 PSI with no issues. Breech is 1" 416 Stainless with threaded barrel. Bolt/handle and hammer cocking handle are large Grade 8 or 12.9 SHCS. Bolt handle is 5/16" and rear breech bolt is 1/4" as recommended for safety. Throated for up to a 310 gr bullet but it may need a little work for more FPS or maybe remain just a pipe dream. It may now shoot the 310 gr after a peek poppet and TP throat increase modification. As of 3/21 it shoots the 245 gr at about 740 FPS for 300 FPE and should do a little beter at 3500 psi. Round ball may break the sound barrier?? Last pic shows a recovered round ball from the range at home that expanded to .655". It takes about 210 pumps to fill it to 2900 PSI (start of shot string curve happened to coincide with 200 bar) and gets about 4-5 shots. Please take high pressure gas serious. It can kill you or others around you. If you point it at a deer it can kill that too. There is the benefit. Cheap deer, predator, turkey hunting (cheap but not easy). Overcoming objections: this is a minimal FPE deer gun depending on the whitetail and where you shoot it. I will be working on getting a little more power or a different one altogether. Powerful Homemade Air Gn full Tutorial Valve Tank Slingshot Hammer Learn how to make an air gün easy with all parts from start to finish for less than 20-50$. This multishot air gün can send bullets with the velocity of 759 fps. Lear n how I made the valve, slingshot hammer, trigger, tank and build it up. Buy parts here (I have simplified some of these parts as not everyone has the proper tools.) Parts for Air Gun valve: 18mm (1/2 inch) Female connector (select "4 point double inner"): 🤍 18mm Female To Male connector (select "Female 04-Male 04"): 🤍 18mm full coupling Copper (select "G1-2"): 🤍 16mm steel (Select either 16mm or 18mm, 16mm might be a bit loose but you can glue it together well, but that way you can't use pressures above 300 PSI, if you have tools to make 18mm piece smaller, then use it. For length 100mm is best): 🤍 Metal Bolt (Select 100mm length): 🤍 M3 Nut (for bolt): 🤍 Rubber Washer, You can use a round washer too but it will give up high pressure faster (Select 4x11x4mm: 🤍 Spring for Length select 45mm and for outer diameter select 5mm 20pcs: 🤍 AB Glue: 🤍 Parts for Air Gun Hammer: Unfortunately, you cannot buy any of these parts online, except the spring. Select 80mm for length, 18mm for outer diameter: 🤍 Parts for Air Tank (For this, I've selected products with threads, so that you do not need complicated tools): Bicycle valve for pumping in the pressure: 🤍 1/2 inch Threaded pipe for the air storage: 🤍 Reducer bush, choose DN6 to DN15, this is for connecting bicycle valve, the thread of the valve is not 1/8 inch, but that is what it can go through, the bicycle valve has its own connecting parts like nuts: 🤍 (1/2 inch) Female connector for connecting reducer bush to pipe (select "4 point double inner"): 🤍 For barrel and connecting it: Brass Barrel to shoot Select 10x8x500mm: 🤍 90 Degree pneumatic connector to connect barrel, if you have a threader, make 1/8 inch threaded hole to the valve, otherwise, drill about 8-10mm hole to the valve and use the AB Glue to connect it (Select Specification PL, Select Color 10-01): 🤍 For the loading system made in the video, you can just leave the Slingshot Hammer stick the way it is, but if you want to make it more advanced, you can like in the video. Ammunition & Other: 8mm steel ball: 🤍 PCP Pump for 4500 PSI (NEVER Pressurize a homemade air gun that high, for this gun Maximum pressure is around 500 PSI, Burst pressure 1200 PSI and recommendation 300 PSI. We used 120 PSI since all we had for this was a bike pump): 🤍 Similar Pump used in this video, if you can't find one at a local store: 🤍 #WARNING : Make at your own risk, pressurized air can be dangerous if not treated properly.
