The Traxxas TRX-4 is a great platform to build and customize and I’ve been having a great time installing some Traxxas option parts on the K10 High Lift Edition. I installed several aluminum parts, a little weight, the push bar. BUT one option really made me crazy! It seemed like something wasn’t right and after some trials and testing and then finally a phone call I figured it out. It’s winter time and the snow keeps piling up which typically means more project building and less running RC. But we found a way to do both. We’re breaking the Project Ultimate Traxxas TRX-4 back out from storage for a revisit! Our Ultimate TRX4 build series was a blast and the truck looked amazing when it was finished. It was fun to drive, but it should be even more fun in the snow. We also took out our Traxx set to outfit the rig on tracks. But for snow, Traxxas offers a deep terrain Traxx set for better traction. So we’re installing them and a few other aftermarket goodies we found in the Traxxas option parts list. We’ll bolt everything up and take the TRX4 out for a drive. Will this truck dominate in the snow or will our project end up in smoke...hint! The Unlimited Desert Racer is a ground up new machine from the big TRX and in their typical fashion, they went big… literally. They went big in size, scale, risk, style, innovation and the list goes on. The Unlimited Desert Racer is a Pro Scale truck that comes ready to run with powerful 6S capable ESC, 2200kv motor, TQi radio system and a high torque servo to muscle the steering. Perhaps you’ve heard about the Traxxas Drag Slash? It’s one of the most hyped releases of 2021 so far and the final unveiling just happened! With that, we got our hands on one of the first trucks to be released. This truck is a very exciting launch for the RC Drag car community. It’s based on the Traxxas Slash which many drivers have already been using as a base for their No Prep RC Drag car builds. However, like always, Traxxas has put their spin on this machine. They gear their products to be very helpful to entry-level drivers and from there, the sky’s the limit for what you can do with them. The Drag Slash is just that, a truck built to get people into RC Drag Racing with success thanks to a proven platform and some well thought out features that will make this truck easy for anyone to drive. In this video, Greg goes over all of the features of the new Drag Slash Chevrolet C10 and takes it out for a bunch of test runs under certain scenarios.
