Lo'tahrk is a newly formed orc group from Sweden and Gimle 2022 was our first larp as orcs. All members combined have decades of larp experience mainly as human roles but this year we wanted try something different. This incredibly fun experience made us all proud and excited to stay commited and grow as orc larpers going into 2023. Most of us are mainly based around the Gothenburg area. We are a closed group of friends in the ages 15-30 but if you are interested in joining feel free to reach out so we can have a conversation. It's important to have some chemistry with each other and a will to give great gameplay for other larpers. Even if it means we die, horrible horrible deaths. Atmosphere is everything. Överallt i vårt land har det vandrat människor genom årtusenden. De har varit torpare och präster, fattiga och rika, infödda och inflyttade. Vad alla har gemensamt är att de tillsammans har byggt det här landet, och gjort Sverige till vad det är idag. Spår från dessa finns överallt runtomkring oss, kanske utan att vi alltid reflekterar särskilt mycket över det. Varje åker har någon gång brutits upp av någon för att ge mat åt sin familj och kommande generationer. Varje stenmur har travats upp sten för sten, och många av oss bor fortfarande i de stugor och hus som upprättats för flera hundra år sedan. Detta tycker vi är värt att uppmärksamma. År 2020 ser ut att bli ett år då väldigt många kommer att tillbringa semestern i sitt närområde. Detta tycker vi i Gimle är ett utomordentligt tillfälle att passa på att lyfta någonting från din hembygds lokala kulturarv, och på så sätt bidra till att ge en röst åt de som inte längre finns bland oss. Detta kommer vi att göra genom att utlysa en tävling under hashtaggarna #minhembygd och #gimle. Tävlingen är väldigt enkel. Du lägger upp en bild på Facebook eller Instagram under hashtaggarna ovan på något som säger något om din hembygd och/eller om de människor som bott där tidigare (gärna med en förklarande text). Efter tävlingens avslutande så kommer vi att publicera samtliga bilder på vår facebooksida, där våra följare får utse sin favoritbild. Användaren med den bild som har flest gillningar kommer att vinna 1000 k, och ges chansen att berätta mer om bakgrunden till bilden. Stort lycka till!
